Program notes:
The piece describes a feeling of undefined nostalgia and mystery which is engendered by the coming of the Fall. The Fall and the view of the dark blue-grey sky of early night makes me reminisce about abstract and faded memories of the past. The musing about autumn leaves is suddenly combined with a quasi Vivaldian joy and sadness at the same time. The memories keep reminding me of the inevitable passing of the years, but all the questions still remain unanswered. At the end, a sense of loneliness and alienation is invoked again by the mysteries of the Fall.
